1. After the cold engine is started, fully warm up in the idling state, and the throttle cannot be fired to warm up

When the cold engine is started, the engine temperature is very low, the oil viscosity is high, and the fluidity is poor. It cannot reach the surface of each friction pair in a short time. The throttle will increase the wear between the parts; when the throttle is high, the gasoline is low due to the low engine temperature. It is not easy to vaporize, and more liquid gasoline enters the cylinder, which will dilute the lubricating oil film on the cylinder wall and increase wear

2. Charge the battery in time to prevent the battery from freezing and scrapping.

When the battery is out of power and the voltage is only 11.7 volts,-7.7 ℃ will freeze and scrap; when the battery is fully charged and the voltage is 12.67 volts,-68 ℃ will freeze. Therefore, if the battery is fully charged, it will not freeze and be scrapped in cold areas. Therefore, in winter, especially in cold areas, the battery should be charged in time to prevent the battery from losing electricity and avoiding the battery from freezing and scrapping.

3. In cold areas, motorcycles should use winter oil

Generally, the oil viscosity grade used in motorcycles is 10W-30 or 10W-40, which is suitable for ambient temperatures above -20°C. However, in some cold winter areas, the temperature is mostly lower than -20 ℃. At this time, the winter oil with a viscosity grade of 5W-30 should be replaced. It is suitable for ambient temperatures above -30 ℃. The low temperature resistance of 5W-30 winter oil is better.

4. Timely high-speed long-distance driving, to avoid oil emulsification

Part of the water vapor produced by the combustion of the combustible mixture in the engine will escape into the crankcase. Under normal circumstances, this water vapor is discharged through the crankcase breather hose. However, in winter, the ambient temperature is low, the engine heats up slowly, and the oil in the crankcase heats up more slowly. Water vapor condenses into water in a low temperature environment and enters the oil. Too much water enters the oil, which causes the oil to emulsify after stirring. Therefore, if you fully warm up before driving and drive at a high speed and long distance at a timely time (driving at a speed of 50~60 km/h for more than 20 minutes), it will not cause oil emulsification. Even if there is emulsification, the moisture in the oil will evaporate and pass through the ventilation The hose is discharged from the crankcase to eliminate emulsification. 5. In cold areas, motorcycles should be stored in heated rooms as much as possible.

There is a certain linear relationship between temperature and battery capacity. The lower the temperature, the more likely the battery is to lose electricity. At this time, the number of normal electric starts of the motorcycle will be correspondingly reduced, or even unable to start. Therefore, motorcycles in cold winter areas should be placed in places with higher temperatures, such as heated rooms.

6. Properly enrich the mixture

The ambient temperature is low, gasoline is not easy to vaporize, and the air density is also increased, which can easily cause the mixture to be lean, resulting in difficulty in starting, easy flameout after starting, poor acceleration performance and other faults. 7. When driving on icy and snowy roads, reduce tire pressure appropriately
